Their list of tours (all airlines included) is here: http://www.santa-holidays.com/day_tours_availability.php http://www.santa-holidays.com/night_tours_availability.php ... not all of their tours fly to Rovaniemi, though most of them do. You can find out which by looking which resorts are close to RVN. Anyway, the weekend of 12/13 Dec looks better traffic-wise, in my opinion... Really looks like the 12/13 is better, so if there isn't any big drawback there I think we'll go for that one. I actually already stumbled upon the santa-holidays website and offered them free usage of my photos in return for a detailed timetable of all their flights to RVN. Judging by the absence of a reply though, it seems as if they're not too interested (didn't expect anythign else!) :'( :'( Great hint with the airport websites! Kirjoitettu Lokakuu 13, 2009 Dec 12/13 is a "normal" weekend in Finland, no "drawbacks" as far as I can see, Tis Dec 6, on the other hand, happens to be Independence Day in Finland, a public holiday as well as a Sunday, and you might find that buses and taxis and other similar services, maybe restaurants too etc, would be "limited" or even closed then and moving around would be more difficult than the next weekend... If you think about it, for a British family with kids ( the "average" Santa Tours customer), a visit to Santa on Dec 5/6 is a bit too early - but Dec 12/13 is OK, since it´s closer to the actual holiday and it leaves a comfortable week or so to get ready for the real Xmas at home and Canterbury Travel & the other travel agents know this & therefore plan the best-selling two day tours for around the middle of the month ... The green ones are the tours of santa-holidays that should go to RVN. No times and airlines listed there, just origin airports. But basically each origin airport should mean another flight, except if they're doing multi-stop flights . Nojoo aluksi keli oli kyllä ihan surkea, lunta tuli niinkuin tuosta wizzairin kuvasta näkee.. Onneksi lumisade sitten rauhoittui ja sai edes jonkinnäköisiä kuvia. Tässä jonkunnäöinen kuva siitä LOT:ista, en jaksanut alkaa muokkaamaan kunnolla. Sää oli tuossavaiheessa täis p*ska kuten kuvasta näkyy. Kirjoitettu Joulukuu 6, 2009 Nojoo aluksi keli oli kyllä ihan surkea, lunta tuli niinkuin tuosta wizzairin kuvasta näkee.. Mukavin kuva tuo Wizzairin kuva noista on. Muut on sitä perusharmaata tuhnua, mitä meidän syystalvet jatkuvasti on, ja siks tuo WA just eroaakin joukosta positiivisesti.
