Yesterday I drove to Cairns to photograph the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner N789FT.  This 787 has been in Alice Springs for one week conducting hot heat testing.  Alice Springs is in the centre of Australia and daytime temperatures are about +43 degrees.

 

Yesterday N789FT flew Alice Springs to Cairns, then to Honolulu and then to Seattle.  I have also included some Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin pictures

Great, I'll be visiting Cairns in March myself, hopefully there'll be some time for some airplane pics also...looks like a nice place in any case!
