Norwegianilta eivät tytäryhtiöt lopu kesken. Irlantiin (tietysti) rekisteröity Norwegianin kokonaan omistama leasing-tytäryhtiö Arctic Aviation Assets on sopinut liisaavansa 12 Airbus A320neo:ta hongkongilaiselle HK Expressille. Norwegianillahan on tilauksessa 100 A320neo:ta, jotka siis tulevat leasingtytäryhtiön nimiin, ja HK Express saa koneensa näistä tilatuista yksilöistä vv 2016-2018.

 

Arctic Aviation Assets Ltd (AAA), Norwegians helägda dotterbolag, har tecknat avtal om att leasa ut 12 flygplan av modellen Airbus 320neo till flygbolaget HK Express. De 12 flygplanen levereras mellan 2016 och 2018.

Crystal Luxury Airin B772 on Air Australin entinen koneyksilö ja nyt rekisteröity Aruban rekisteriin tunnuksella P4-XTL. Crystalille on tulossa lisäksi 787, ACJ319 Airbus Corporate Jet ja Global Express, jotta löytyy riittävästi valinnanvaraa.

 

Crystal Luxury Air (Aruba) has acquired an ex-Air Austral (UU, St. Denis de la Réunion) B777-200(LR) in the form of F-OLRA (msn 40955) now re-registered as P4-XTL under the Aruban registry. The aircraft will shortly be joined by a B787-8 as well as an A319-100CJ and a Bombardier Global Express XRS.

 

Beginning March 2016, the cruise specialist will use the new aircraft to operate private charters and transport guests from any point in the United States to the Mediterranean, Indian Ocean and the Pacific for ocean, river or yacht voyages.

 

The ACJ319 will feature VIP seating for thrity passengers, including sixteen lay-flat seats, while the Global Express will accomodate up to thirteen guests.

China Southern on äskettäin tilannut koneita sekä Airbusilta että Boeingilta: 10 Airbus A330-300:aa

 

China Southern Airlines Co., Asia’s biggest carrier by fleet size, announced an order to purchase 10 Airbus Group SE wide-body aircraft to meet the growing demand for travel in the world’s most populous country.

 

The order for 10 A330-300 aircraft is valued at $2.27 billion at list prices, the airline said in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange Wednesday. The planes, which are for delivery between 2017 and 2019, will help increase the airline’s capacity by 4 percent, the Guangzhou-based company said.

Singapore-based leasing company BOC Aviation (BOC) has placed an order for 18 Airbus A320neos and 12 A320ceos, valued at more than $3 billion at list prices.

 

BOC Aviation CEO Robert Martin said the order reflects the popularity of A320s among short- and medium-haul operators. "[it also] underscores our  continued  confidence  in  the  reliability  and  operational efficiency of the A320 family aircraft," he added.

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines is set to sign $1-billion operating lease agreement with Airbus Financial Services for six long-range A350-900, a twin-engine wide-body jets in February, its President said Thursday.

 

Jaime J. Bautista, president and chief operating officer, said the deal involves six ultra long-range aircraft, aircraft parts and support equipment. No model variant of the type was however disclosed.

Jahas, nyt vihdoin kotimainenkin aviisi reagoi, lainaten WSJ:tä:

 

Iranin merkittävimmän lentoyhtiön Iran Airin koneet ovat keskimäärin 25- tai jopa 27-vuotiaita – eli "antiikkisia" alan standardeja ajatellen. Osa koneista ei tosin ole enää käytössä. EU on asettanut rajoituksia sille, millä koneilla yhtiö voi lentää Eurooppaan.

 

Iranin liikenneministeri Abbas Akhoundi kertoi viikonloppuna, että maa aikoo hankkia 114 lentokonetta Airbusilta sen jälkeen kun kauppa vapautuu.

 

Airbusin pääjohtaja Tom Enders on arvioinut, että iranilaisyhtiöt saattaisivat tilata 400–500 konetta tulevina vuosina.

United Airlines tilaa 40 Boeing 737-700:aa korvaamaan pienempiä regional-jettejä.

 

United Airlines has ordered 40 Boeing 737-700s as part of its programme to retire small regional jets.

 

Deliveries of the 737s will begin in the middle of 2017 and will allow the Chicago-based carrier to reduce its fleet of 50-seat aircraft by more than half by 2019, it says.

Toistaiseksi nimeämätön asiakas on tilannut 14 A330neo:ta Singaporen ilmailunäyttelyn yhteydessä. A330neo-mallilla on nyt yhteensä 186 tilausta. Garuda Indonesia toisaalta pienentää A330ceo-tilaustaan seitsemällä koneella.

PAL ordered six A350s, with another six options, Bautista said.

 

PAL officials said they would consider financing the aircraft through sale and leaseback options and commercial debt.

Boeing on saanut kaupaksi neljä 747-8-rahtikonetta toistaiseksi nimeämättömälle ostajalle. 747-8-koneiden kysynnän hiipuessa Boeing vähentää vuotuista tuotantotahtia tänä vuonna kuuteen koneeseen. Vuonna 2014 ei tullut uusia tilauksia ja vuonna 2015 vain 2 nettotilausta. Toimittamattomia tilauksia on nyt enää 23, plus Air Force One-yksilöt USA:n ilmavoimille.

 

Boeing has booked four orders for its 747-8 freighter, the first sales of the year for the plane.

 

Boeing did not identify the customer for the order, which came after the plane maker booked two net orders in 2015 and none the year before.

 

Boeing is due to cut annual 747 production to six from 12 this year, reflecting declining demand for the jumbo jet, which first flew in 1969.

 

Boeing has 23 current orders for the plane, including 11 freighters and 12 passenger models. The US Air Force also has made a provisional order for an unspecified number to renew its fleet of Air Force One planes.
