Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp., the maker of Japan’s first passenger jet, said Monday it has won an order to deliver up to 20 units of the Mitsubishi Regional Jet to Rockton AB, a regional aircraft leasing company in Sweden. The deliveries will begin in 2020.

 

The jet maker said the Swedish company signed a contract to buy 10 MRJ90 planes with an option for 10 more.

JetBlue tilaa yhteensä 30 Airbus A321:tä lisää. Puolet koneista on A321ceo- ja puolet A321neo-mallia. Tämän lisäyksen jälkeen jetBluella on tilauksessa kaikenkaikkiaan 116 Airbusia, joista 25 on A320neoa, 31 A321ceoa ja 60 A321neoa.

New York-based JetBlue Airways has amended its purchase agreement with Airbus to include an additional 15 Airbus A321ceo (current engine option) and 15 A321neo (new engine option) aircraft.  The airline, which already operates A321s, has not yet announced its engine selection for the newly ordered aircraft.  Beginning in 2019, JetBlue has the flexibility to configure the New Engine Option aircraft to the Longer Range version of the A321 – the A321LR.

Malaysia Airlines has announced a deal for 50 737 MAX aircraft, made up of 25 firm MAX 8s and 25 purchase rights, valued at $2.75 billion at list prices.

 

The order was previously attributed to an unidentified customer on Boeing’s Orders & Deliveries website.

 

Deliveries will commence in 2019 and Boeing said the purchase rights can be applied to both MAX 8s and MAX 9s.

Philippines-based low-cost carrier (LCC) Cebu Pacific has placed a firm order for two Airbus A330-300s, the manufacturer said July 29.

 

The new aircraft will expand Cebu Pacific’s existing fleet of six A330s, which operate on long-haul services to the Middle East and Australia, as well on certain domestic and regional sectors.

The 72-seat ATR 72-600s “will provide an essential service across the Argentinian market, introducing new regional routes and connections to and from main hubs, first in Buenos Aires and then in Córdoba,” ATR said in a statement. The first delivery is expected before the end of the year, with entry into service planned for the first quarter of 2017.

Piper Aircraft has received an order for 50 Archers from their dealer in China, China Air Shuttle, the company announced this week. The airplanes will be manufactured and certificated at Piper Aircraft’s factory in Vero Beach, Florida, and then shipped to Rizhao, China, where they will be reassembled by a China Air Shuttle affiliate company. Piper will develop delivery center facilities in Rizhao to provide reassembly, training, maintenance and product support for Chinese customers. China Air Shuttle then plans to distribute those aircraft to some of the major flight schools and general aviation companies of the region.

 

Ruixiang Flight Academy has been announced as the launch customer.

Flynas, Saudi Arabia’s leading low-cost carrier, has signed an agreement with Airbus for 60 A320neo Family aircraft.

 

In addition to the 60 aircraft, Flynas has converted 20 A320ceo from a previous order to A320neo bringing the airline’s total firm order to 80 A320neo. The deliveries are scheduled to take place during 2018-2026.

 

The agreement was announced today in Riyadh at a press conference attended by Ayed Al Jeaid, Chairman, NAS Holding, Bander Al Mohanna, Chief Executive Officer, NAS Holding Group and Fouad Attar, Managing Director, Airbus Middle East.

 

Flynas, an all Airbus operator, currently has 26 A320ceo in service.

Asiakkaille toimitettiin viime vuonna ennätykselliset 688 lentokonetta.

Lentokonevalmistaja Airbus toimitti viime vuonna asiakkailleen ennätykselliset 688 liikennelentokonetta 82 eri asiakkaalle. Edellinen ennätys on vuodelta 2015, jolloin Airbus toimitti 635 konetta. Airbusin toimitukset ovat kasvaneet jo 14 vuotta peräkkäin.

Singapore Airlines is set to place a firm order for 20 Boeing 777-9s and 19 787-10s, after agreeing a letter of intent with Boeing.

 

The airline has confirmed the deal, valued at $13.8 billion, which includes six options for each type. If exercised, it will bring the total to as many as 51 aircraft.

 

The 777-9s will be delivered from 2021 onwards, while the 787-10s will start to arrive a year earlier.
