China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Ltd. has agreed to buy 50 single-aisle jetliners from Airbus SE to meet demand in the country’s booming market.

The 50 Airbus A320neo aircraft, which at list price have a total value of $5.42 billion, will be delivered to the company in stages in 2023, the Hong Kong-based lessor said in a statement on Friday. With this incremental order, China Aircraft Leasing will have 202 outstanding orders with the French airliner manufacturer.

Unkarilainen Wizz Air vahvistaa yhteensä 146 koneen aiesopimukset tilauksiksi. Koneista 72 on A320neoa ja 74 A321neoa.

Wizz Air has signed a deal with Airbus for 146 A320neo aircraft to continue the airline’s expansion plans over the next 10 years.

The Hungarian low-cost carrier’s new contract with Airbus is worth $17.2 billion at list prices, and follows a memorandum of understanding issued in November.

Under the terms of the deal, Wizz will receive 72 Airbus A320neos and 74 Airbus A321neos, which will be delivered between 2021 and 2026. These aircraft will be used to replace some of Wizz’s current fleet and for expansion.

China is set to finalise orders for 184 Airbus A320-family aircraft, say media reports citing French president Emmanuel Macron, after talks with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in Beijing.

The orders will mainly be for A320neo jets with deliveries to 13 airlines scheduled in 2019 and 2020. It is unclear whether these are new orders, or were previously undisclosed.

A joint statement released by France and China says that both countries' presidents encourage Airbus and its Chinese partners to explore new co-operation around the A330, A350 and A380.

"China is willing to continue purchasing Airbus aircraft through the mutually beneficial and friendly consultations with France regarding the development needs of China's air transport market," it adds.

"Both parties are happy about the prospect of signing new contracts in the future."

The statement follows a framework agreement to ramp up A320 output at the Tianjin plant to six aircraft monthly by early 2020. The plant currently produces four aircraft per month.

Airbus is also reportedly offering China a role in its A380 production, in hopes of winning more orders for the slow-selling jet.

The airframer would only say that it attaches great importance to the Chinese market and is committed to enhancing co-operation with China.

"We believe it's in the interests of both sides," it says. "And China is one of the largest aviation markets and we're proud to support its growth with our comprehensive product portfolio from 100 to 600 seats."

Turkish Airlines on vahvistanut tilaavansa sekä A350-900-koneita että Boeing  787-9-koneita, kumpaakin erikseen 25 kpl ja molemmista vielä 5 optiota. 787-kaupasta on alunperin keskusteltu jo viime syyskuussa ja A359-kaupasta tämän vuoden tammikuussa. Mikäli optiot vahvistetaan, Turkishin kaukolentolaivasto kasvaa 60 koneella, joista osalla todennäköisesti korvataan aikaisempia konemalleja, mm. A340:iä.

FLC Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with Airbus for up to 24 A321neo aircraft for future operation by start-up carrier Bamboo Airways.

The agreements were signed in Paris by Trinh Van Quyet, chairman of FLC Group and Eric Schulz, chief commercial officer, Airbus, during the official visit to France of Nguyễn Phú Trọng, general secretary of the central committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

SAS tilaa kokonaista 50 uutta Airbus A320neoa lisää. Toimitukset alkavat v. 2019. Täten SAS:llä tulee v. 2023 olemaan laivastossaan pelkästään  Airbusin valmistamia lentokoneita. Aikaisemmasta 30 A320neon tilauksesta on jo käytössä 17 kpl, ja lopulta A320neoja tulee siis olemaan yhteensä 80 kpl.

SAS on tilannut yhden uuden A330-300E:n, jolla on tarkoitus korvata LAN Chileltä aikoinaan peritytynyt, kulahtanut leasing-A340-300, jossa on vanha ja kulunut sisustus, ja jota on käytetty korvaavana koneena ja myös joillakin reiteillä. Uusi kone toimitetaan keväällä 2019. Tämän vaihto-operaation jälkeen SAS:n kaikissa kaukolentolaivaston 16 koneessa (tällä hetkellä 8 x A330 ja 8 x A340) on uuden mallin sisustus. - SAS:n tilaamat 8 A350:tä muuttavat tilannetta kun toimitukset alkavat v. 2019.

SAS långdistansflygplansflotta består idag av 16 Airbus A330/A340 En av dem LN-RKP lever inte upp till SAS krav på standard och inredning. 

Det är den leasade A340-300 som togs över från Lan Chile och sedan dess främst tjänstgjort som reservflygplan men har också flugit på ett flertal av långlinjerna. Responsen från passagerarna har bitvis inte varit nådig över det äldre och slitna flygplanet.

China has released a Five-Year Plan – a series of social and economic initiatives that has elements aimed at boosting general aviation development. This plan is sparking demand for training aircraft in the country. Textron Aviation says it is capitalizing on this and has received orders for 52 Cessna Skyhawks from general aviation training entities in China. All deliveries are expected to be completed within 2018. 

The new orders are from Hairuo General Aviation with 39 Skyhawks and Hubei Sky-Blue International Aviation Academy with 13 Cessna Skyhawks. Both Hairuo General Aviation and Hubei Sky-Blue International Aviation Academy are authorized sales representatives and authorized service facilities for Cessna piston aircraft in China.

Bombardier Commercial Aircraft and Air Baltic Corporation AS (airBaltic) announced today that the parties have executed a firm purchase agreement for the sale and purchase of 30 CS300 aircraft with options and purchase rights for an additional 30 aircraft of the same type.

Based on the list price of the CS300 aircraft, the firm order is valued at approximately US$ 2.9 billion. This amount would increase to nearly US$5.9 billion should all 15 options and 15 purchase rights be exercised.
