Airbus ja Boeing: lentoyhtiöiden koneiden lukumäärä tuplaantuu 20 vuodessa

Airbusin ja Boeingin ennusteiden mukaan kaupallisten matkustaja- ja rahtikoneiden lukumäärä tulee kaksinkertaistumaan 20 vuoden sisällä suurin piirtein 20000:sta 40000:een (Airbusin ennuste) tai jopa 45000:een (Boeingin ennuste, jossa on mukana regional jet-koneet).

 

Airbus said the world’s commercial jet fleet will double from 19,500 today to 40,000 by 2035 as “some 13,000 passenger and freighter aircraft will be replaced with more fuel efficient types.” Boeing projects the world’s commercial jet fleet (including regional jets) will grow from 22,510 today to 45,240 by 2035.

 

Tähän päästään siten, että vuoden 2035 loppuun mennessä tullaan myymään Boeingin mukaan melkein 40000 uutta konetta, ml. regional jetit, joista osa korvaa lentoyhtiöiden vanhempaa kalustoa. Airbusin ennusteen mukaan uusia koneita myydään 33000, missä luvussa ei ole alle 100-paikkaisia koneita mukana. Ennusteiden pohjana on kaupallisen lentomatkustuksen arvioitu 4,5-4,8 % vuosittainen kasvu maailmanlaajuisesti.

 

Boeing forecasts demand for 39,620 commercial aircraft over the next 20 years valued at $5.9 trillion. The number of aircraft, which includes regional aircraft below 90 seats, is 4.1% higher than the 20-year forecast issued by Boeing in 2015.

 

The Airbus forecast sees 33,000 new commercial aircraft through 2035 valued at $5.2 billion. The disparity between the forecasts is smaller than it appears since Airbus is only including aircraft with more than 100 seats; Boeing’s forecast includes 2,380 regional jets.

Boeing on julkaissut myös arvionsa Venäjällä ja muissa IVY-maissa seuraavien 20 vuoden aikana tarvittavien koneiden lukumäärästä, joksi Boeing arvelee 1170 konetta.

 

Boeing forecasts market demand for 1,170 new airplanes in Russia and the CIS region over the next 20 years, valued at $140 billion. The company released the numbers as part of its annual Current Market Outlook (CMO) for Russia and the CIS region.

 

International traffic is expected to grow at an annual rate of 4.8 percent and Boeing predicts Russian and CIS airlines will need 810 single-aisle and 170 widebody airplanes to handle the increase. With strong demand for replacing an increasingly aging fleet of Russian-built airplanes, 47 percent of deliveries will be used to replace older, less-efficient airplanes.
