Eurowingsin ja Germanwingsin matkustamohenkilökunnan ammattiyhdistys UFO on ilmoittanut lakosta, joka tapahtuu tänään 27.10. klo 00.00-24.00. Eurowingsin osalta kyse on Düsseldorfiin ja Hampuriin sijoitetuista työntekijöistä. Germanwingsin osalta taas mm. Berlin-Tegeliin, Köln-Bonniin, Düsseldorfiin ja Stuttgartiin sijoitetuista työntekijöistä. Matkustajia kehoitetaan tarkistamaan lentojen tilanne yhtiöiden nettisivuilta/asiakaspalvelusta.

 

The flight attendants’ union Ufo has announced that its members among the Eurowings flight attendants in Düsseldorf and Hamburg as well as its members at Germanwings intend to strike on Thursday, 27 October from 00.00 to 24.00.

 

To enable its passengers to plan with certainty, Eurowings has prepared a substitute flight schedule which will apply during the strike period on Thursday.

 

None of the long-haul flights are affected by the strike.

 

All passengers are therefore asked to check the current status of their flights.

Germanwings and Eurowings cabin crew will strike on Thursday for 24 hours, in an escalation of dispute over a contract.

 

Flight attendant union UFO called the strike from 00:00 to 24:00 on Thursday October 27, at the Lufthansa low-cost units after failing to agree terms.

 

Eurowings said it anticipated disruptions throughout its route network, with Düsseldorf and Hamburg flights affected.

 

Germanwings flights at Berlin-Tegel, Cologne-Bonn, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, and other airports are also affected.
