Kirjoitettu Elokuu 8, 2020 Muistaakseni Microsoftin mukaan FS2020 on nimenomaan tehty kaikille simuilijoille. Sillä voivat aloittaa lentämisestä mitään tietämättömät hyvin pienella oppimiskynnyksellä samaan aikaan kun se vastaa kokeneiden VFR- tai IFR-simukonkareiden vaatimuksiin. Vasta elokuun lopulla näemme varmaksi onko näin. Default-koneet eivät ehkä vielä silloin vastaa jälkimmäisten vaatimustasoa, mutta on vain ajan kysymys kun simuun tuodaan "viimeisen päälle" mallinnettuja koneita. Ajatus "kaikkien simusta" tuntuisi kyllä järkevältä, sillä mahdollisimman laajan käyttäjäkunnan saaminen tuo rahaa niin MS:lle kuin kolmansien osapuolten lisäosakehittelijöille, ja rahahan on niille prioriteetti numero yksi. No ei ainakaan elävässä elämässä maisemat näytä samalta 30 000 jalassa kuin 3 000 vastaavassa korkeudessa - sekin on yhtä naurettava väite. Jos simulaattorissa olisi maisemat kohdallaan maamerkkeineen niin mikä olisi sen upeampaa kuin "lentää" aluekarttojen ynnä VOR-pisteiden avulla nimenomaan VFR-sääntöjen mukaan? Sääolosuhteet tietenkin olisi hyvä olla mahdollisimman realistiset ja ympäristönä Alaska sekä koneena mahdollisimman realistinen paikallisesti käytössä oleva kulkupeli. Näissä matkustajakoneissa (simulaattorissa) ei ole oikeastaan muuta mielenkiintoista kuin käynnistysproseduurit, nousu ja lasku. Muu on tylsää tuijotusta ja lehtien lukua läppäriltä. Mutta joo - kukin tykkää tehdä ja nauttia asioista tavallaan eikä siihen tietenkään ole muilla mitään sanomista - ei edes PMDG:llä vaikka mahtavia lisäosia ovatkin tehneet. Minä olen vankkumaton GA-koneiden kannattaja siitä lähtien kun mm. A2A alkoi tekemään näitä siviilipuolen vehkeitä. Toki PMDG:n koneitakin löytyy hangaarista ja yksi susi Aerosoftin airbussi sekä pari vanhan liiton konetta. Hypetys tulevan simun ympärillä tuntuu olevan hirmuinen, mutta tietoa siitä ja sen kestävyydestä saadaan vasta tuonnempana. FSX sai aikoinaan myllytystä aikaan ja sama oli P3D-simun kanssa, mutta nyt viimemainittukkin kuullostaa olevan roskiskamaa - hyvä, että jätin suosiolla väliin Jaa viesti Link to post Jaa muulla sivustolla
Kirjoitettu Elokuu 8, 2020 Ei kai kukaan ole sanonutkaan, että maisema näyttäisi samalta 3000 kuin 30 000 jalassa, vaan ennemminkin sitä, että maisemia voi myös ihailla 10 kilometrin korkeudesta. Oikeassa elämässä olen kyllä mielelläni seurannut matkan etenemistä Norjan yli, ihaillut Islannin jäätiköitä, keski-Euroopassa on vaikka mitä nähtävää kun maisema rullaa hissukseen ohi. X-planen orthomaisemia (eli siis ilmakuvia) katselin eilen USA:n länsirannikolla. Maisemassa ei ole samanlaista kohtaa missään, toisin kuin vektorimaisema, jonka kuviot väkisinkin oppii ja jotka toistuvat koko ajan. Periaatteessa sitä paremmin erottuvat, mitä korkeammalla lentää.
