Unitedin lennolla Newarkista Tel Aviviin:

Lento oli kestänyt kolme tuntia, kun israelilainen miesmatkustaja jonotti vessaan ja istui odotuksen ajaksi miehistön istuimelle. Miehistön jäsen ilmoitti miehelle, että jollei hän mene takaisin omalle paikalleen, kone kääntyy takaisin New Yorkiin. Mies ei tainnut uskoa uhkausta vaan alkoi huutaa vastaan.

United Airlines Flight 90, which departed from Newark early Sunday morning, reversed course about three hours into its journey and headed back to the US, according to the flight-tracking website FlightRadar 24.

According to an eyewitness, who spoke to the Israeli media outlet Ynet, the disagreement was over an Israeli man choosing to sit in a seat assigned to crew members while he waited to use the bathroom.

An American Airlines passenger prevented a plane from taking off — forcing others to reschedule their flights — after she was asked to get off her phone, federal prosecutors said.

The woman refused the flight attendants’ request, which made her “irate” as the plane heading to Chicago was departing from Buffalo Niagara International Airport in New York on April 19, 2022, according to court documents.

She left her seat, headed toward the front of the plane, argued with passengers and spit on one, an affidavit says. Then, she’s accused of taking out her phone and recording.

The situation escalated when the woman realized she was “going to be in trouble” and decided to leave, according to the affidavit. With the plane in motion, she pushed a flight attendant, opened the front door and slid down the aircraft’s emergency slide after causing it to activate, the affidavit says.

The woman, 24, of Rochester, was sentenced to time served and three years’ probation after she pleaded guilty to two counts of simple assault in the special aircraft jurisdiction of the U.S., the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York announced in a May 26 news release.

She agreed to pay $42,128 in restitution as part of her sentencing, according to her plea agreement.

Tracking data from FlightAware showed flight DL97 departed from Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport in France about 10:30 a.m. Friday local time and was bound for Detroit, Michigan. However, it diverted to Stephenville Dymond International Airport in Canada about six hours later.

This unruly customer was removed at Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, and remanded to the custody of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police," the representative said.

A Canadian airport official told WXYZ Detroit that a passenger broke free of his restraints on the flight and had to be held down by several other travelers until the plane landed in Canada.

A video posted online by the ABC affiliate showed a passenger being led off the plane by police. He could be heard saying "What am I under arrest for?" in the video.

An American Airlines flight from Milwaukee to Dallas Fort Worth was forced to make an emergency diversion to Tulsa on Tuesday evening after a passenger sitting in First Class allegedly attacked a flight attendant when she told him to stop vaping.

American Airlines flight AA1733 departed Milwaukee at around 5:30 pm on Tuesday but just over an hour into the two hour, the Airbus A320 veered off course and made its way to Tulsa due to the unruly passenger.

Initial reports claim the passenger was openly vaping in his seat in full view of his seatmates, which prompted a flight attendant to warn him to stop, pointing out that vaping onboard a commercial aircraft was a violation of federal regulations.

30-vuotias mies huuteli hävyttömyyksiä lentoemännille Frontierin lennolla SFO:hon maanantaina, yritti kuristaa lentoemäntää ja potki jalkaan kuusi kertaa ja uhkasi tappaa kaikki. Kone diverttasi.

Charles Angel Salva, 30, of Fremont, was on a Frontier Airlines flight from John Wayne Airport to San Francisco International Airport on Monday when, authorities say, he pulled down an oxygen mask from the overhead compartment shortly after takeoff and began yelling obscenities at flight attendants.

“We are all going to hell,” he said, according to a statement from the U.S. attorney’s office. “This airplane is going down!”

He then allegedly grabbed at passengers and ran to the back of the plane as flight attendants tried to restrain him. Passengers helped restrain Salva using a seat belt after he broke out of flex cuffs.

Salva attempted to choke a flight attendant and kicked another approximately six times in the leg, causing bruising and swelling, according to federal officials.

The affidavit also alleges that Salva said he was going to kill everybody.

The flight diverted to Ontario International Airport in San Bernardino County, as flight attendants did not feel safe to trying to put Salva back in his seat.
