Saksassa kaksi suurta liikennealan ammattiliittoa järjestää yhden päivän lakon joka saattaa lamauttaa kaiken liikenteen koko maassa. Mm. Frankfurtissa ja Münchenissä on peruttu kaikki huomisen lennot. Ongelmia voi esiintyä myös tiistain puolella.

Germany is bracing for the most significant strike the country has seen for 30 years on Monday, March 27th. In a rare sign of unity, two of the country's largest trade unions, ver.di and EVG, have joined forces to bring the country to a standstill.

Together, the two unions represent a significant proportion of the workforce in the transport industry. As a result, flights, trains, and buses are all expected to be affected by industrial action.

All flights have been proactively canceled on Monday at Germany's two busiest airports, Frankfurt (FRA) and Munich (MUC). Lufthansa, with hubs at both airports, will naturally be the most affected airline. The German flag carrier has issued an advisory memo on its website stating, "due to the large number of cancelations and reduced rebooking options, we will not be able to offer solutions for all passengers."
