Aerolineas Argentinasin "suuri puhdistus" - työntekijät ottavat vallan

Argentiinan uusi presidentti on median mukaan jokseenkin erikoinen persoona. Kansallisen lentoyhtiön pressa aikoo antaa työntekijöiden hoitoon jotka savustavat yhtiöstä ulos "poliittisen saasteen". Työntekijät siis panevat toimeen "puhdistuksen" jonka jälkeen Aerolineas Argentinas alkaa kilpailla open skies-pohjalta muiden yhtiöiden kanssa.

Kansallistamisen jälkeen (2008) yhtiö on tehnyt tappiota yli 8 miljardia dollaria.  Mitenkähän tässä tulee käymään?

As one of his first orders of business, Milei says that he wants the government to no longer be involved with Aerolineas Argentinas, the country’s national carrier. Specifically, he says he wants to hand over control over the airline to “the workers” (which in this case means the unions), and he wants the airline to compete with other airlines on equal footing.

“Our idea is to hand it over to the employees and for them to do the purification themselves and begin to compete in an open skies policy. Airline personnel are very qualified personnel, the problem lies in political contamination.”

For context, the state took over control of Aerolineas Argentinas in 2008, and since then, the airline has lost more than $8 billion. The airline hasn’t been profitable a single year during that 15 year period. Even in the 18 years leading up to the government taking control of Aerolineas Argentinas, the company still wasn’t making any money.
